They were gathered by Howard for selected reproduction in his paperbound book attacking the National Nonpartisan League, entitled The Leaders of the Nonpartisan League: Their Aims, Purposes and Records (Minneapolis, 1920). A copy is included in the collection.

The Farmers' Nonpartisan Political League was organized in North Dakota in 1915 by Arthur C. Townley and other North Dakota Socialist Party members.
